Brighton and Hove Albion fans are not happy with how Ben White behaved during Saturday afternoon’s Premier League game at the AMEX.

The two sides squared off against each other on England’s south coast in a match that would have huge implications in the race for the league title.

Despite the away fixture being a potential banana skin, the Gunners cruised their way past Roberto De Zerbi’s Seagulls with goals from Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard sealing a commanding 3-0 victory.

Clutching at his throat, White was seen writhing in agony on the floor, forcing a stop in the play, before eventually continuing like nothing was wrong.

The Englishman’s actions promoted some major backlash from fans on social media with some viewers even demanding the 26-year-old is banned for blatant cheating.

What have fans said about the Arsenal defender?

“Disgraceful,” Andrew Armer wrote on X, as quoted by GOAL. “If that’s not bringing the game into disrepute, I don’t know what is? Retrospective long ban and large fine should (but almost certainly won’t) follow.”

Looking to win their first domestic title since the ‘Invincibles’ in 2004, Mikel Arteta is the first manager since Arsene Wenger to give fans genuine hope, so while Brighton fans aren’t happy, their London rivals will be over the moon.

And irrespective of White’s actions, the full-back will be considered a fierce competitor who will look to bend the rules in his team’s favour to ensure the side have the best possible chance of winning.

And with just seven games left to play, Arsenal, who sit top on 71 points, won’t care what rival fans have to say about their players if they go on to become 2023-24 title winners.

Brighton are level against Stoke City in their third-round FA Cup tie courtesy of a stunning goal from Pervis Estupinan. 

The Premier League side went behind in the match after 16 minutes as Jan Paul van Hecke scored an own goal but Roberto De Zerbi’s side levelled at the perfect time.

Estupinan scored a rocket in added time of the first half to send the teams into the break level at 1-1, with the strike being the defender’s third of the season in all competitions.

What a screamer that is from Pervis Estupinan, who now puts Brighton out of sight against Spurs tonight.

A short corner routine taken by experienced man James Milner saw Estupinan in acres of space just outside the corner of the penalty area. And the full-back decided to take a touch out of his feet and drill a shot straight past the keeper and inside the far post.

Spurs have been put to the sword tonight down on the South Coast, and all that talk a couple of months ago about them being Premier League title contenders has pretty much faded away now. That’s apparently the norm if you’re Tottenham Hotspur.

Meanwhile, at Brighton, after an up and down season form wise, things are starting to look rosier again

Brighton and Hove Albion will be without Pervis Estupinan for ‘a month’ after the full-back suffered a muscular injury.

The club confirmed the bad news on their official website, announcing the Ecuador international will begin his spell on the sidelines by missing tonight’s Europa League clash against Marseille.

Set to miss the entire month of October, Estupinan, 25, will be a huge loss for Roberto De Zerbi and the Seagulls.

The 25-year-old has been in inspired form throughout the early stages of the season, including providing three assists and netting one goal in six Premier League appearances.

However, keen to ensure his side’s performances do not drop, De Zerbi has challenged the likes of Tariq Lamptey to set up and fill the void left by Estupinan.

“He’s injured and can’t play for a month,” the Brighton boss said.

Liverpool are reportedly considering making a move to sign Brighton and Hove Albion full-back Pervis Estupinan.

That’s according to a recent report from Football Transfers, who claims Jurgen Klopp is already planning for Andy Robertson’s long-term successor.

And with Robertson set to turn 30 at the start of next year, the Scotsman is eventually going to need replacing, and according to these latest reports, there are already some early concerns over the former Hull City defender’s physical condition.

Fans may be surprised to hear these reports; especially considering the Reds’ reliable number 26 started 26 Premier League games last season – the same number of domestic games he started the season before.

Nevertheless, with Estupinan quickly emerging as one of England’s most impactful full-backs; a player capable of defending and attacking, Klopp could do a lot worse when it comes to possible replacements for a player who has undoubtedly been one of his best during his tenure.

Pervis Estupinan has put the cherry on top for Brighton with a brilliant finish to score the away side’s 3rd of the game.

Tottenham Hotspur are leading the race to sign Ecuadorian left-back Pervis Estupinan from Villarreal.

The 24-year-old joined Villarreal from Watford in September 2020 for a fee of £15million after a series of loan deals.

Watford signed the left-back in 2017, but he failed to make a single appearance for the Hornets.

However, since joining, Estupinan has racked up a total of 73 appearances for the Yellow Submarines, 10 of which have been in the Champions League.

Now, according to reports by Spanish football news outlet Marca, the Ecuador international could be moving again after Villarreal place him on the transfer market, despite his contract not expiring until June 2027.

Marca have reported that Spurs are leading the race to sign the Estupinan and that Tottenham’s Giovani Lo Celso, who spent half a season on loan to Villarreal, could be used to help seize the left-back.

According to recent reports, West Ham United are close to signing Villarreal left-back Pervis Estupinan.

That’s according to a recent claim circulating in Italy, which suggest the young South American could be on his way to team up with David Moyes’ Hammers.

Estupinan, 23, is one of many full-backs at Villarreal’s disposal and CaughtOffside reported earlier this year that the club is open to offloading at least one.
