The January transfer window affords every club the opportunity to revitalise their squads mid-season and, if players have been acquired diligently by the recruitment department, it can often be the difference between relative success and failure in the second half of a campaign.

Leeds will almost certainly be involved in a deal or two during the first month of 2024, but perhaps not more than that after a tumultuous summer window for manager, Daniel Farke, and owners, 49ers Enterprises.

One player that could be on the way to Elland Road is out-of-favour Bournemouth man, Kieffer Moore.

The Sun report that the 31-year-old’s £40,000 per week wages is likely to see him loaned out to a Championship side, with Leeds, Cardiff, Ipswich, West Brom, Sunderland and Middlesbrough all apparently interested in his services.

Moore will surely jump at the chance of resurrecting his career elsewhere, even if it means dropping down a division.

According to WhoScored, the Welshman has only featured in four games for the Cherries since mid-October.

In those matches he played five minutes against Wolves, nine minutes against Liverpool, two minutes against Crystal Palace and eight minutes against Nottingham Forest.

A total of 24 minutes isn’t good enough for both player and club, so a move therefore makes sense for all parties.

Tottenham find themselves 2-0 down at the Vitality Stadium as Kieffer Moore adds a second for Bournemouth. 

The London club are going through a bad patch at present and today’s match looks to be bringing even more misery Antonio Conte’s way.

The Italian’s team went 1-0 in the first half through a Moore goal and the Welsh international has now scored his second of the match.

The goal came after the striker latched onto an Adam Smith cross and it can be seen below.

Wales have qualified for the playoffs of the 2022 Qatar World Cup thanks to a 1-1 draw with Belgium.

Kieffer Moore’s first half equaliser was enough to see Wales though the group by just one point.

Wales knew that defeat tonight would open the door for the Czech Republic to pip them on the line and had Wales not secured a point against the Belgian Red Devils they would have been eliminated by being condemned to third place in the group.

The Czech Republic won 2-0 against Estonia which would have put them through by a goal difference of one had Wales lost the game 1-0.

And for a time it did look bleak for Wales, as they went 1-0 down to a wonderful first-time effort from Kevin de Bruyne. But some lovely, if not fortunate, wing play from Leeds United winger Daniel James enabled him to hook a cross into the path of Moore, who’s deft touch allowed him to bring the ball down and volley home a crucial equaliser.

Liverpool youngster Neco Williams went close for Wales in the final 10 minutes, seeing his long range effort saved by the fingertips of the Belgian goalkeeper Keon Casteels.

But ultimately, Wales held on for the point and booked their place in the playoffs next year.

These playoffs will see the 10 group runner ups and the two best group winners from the UEFA Nations League, who have not already qualified for either the tournament proper or the playoffs, in a 12 team pot.

These 12 teams will be split into three mini tournaments that will each have a semi-final and final. The winners of each of these paths will progress to the World Cup in November 2022.

Wales know that a single point against Belgium will be enough for them to secure a spot in the playoff’s of the 2022 World Cup that will be held next Spring.

However, they also know that any lapse in concentration could see them knocked out completely, as a loss would open the door for the Czech Republic to pip Wales over the line, most likely via goal difference.

Cardiff City striker Kieffer Moore has headed his country level against Switzerland during Saturday’s second Group A game.

Having fallen behind early in the game’s second half following an impressive header from Breel Embolo, Wales have managed to drag themselves level with 15-minutes still to play.

A quick, short corner taken by Manchester United winger Daniel James allowed a whipped ball to be fired into the box.

Getting on the end of the ball in, Cardiff City forward Moore lept excellently.

What a goal.

It was a great night for England at Wembley as they put Wales to the sword by three goals to nil in their friendly.

All three goals could’ve been avoided with a better standard of defending, but Wales manager, Ryan Giggs, had more to worry about in the lead up to the double header against Ireland and Bulgaria.

Influential striker, Kieffer Moore, had to be taken off before half-time with what looked to be a serious injury, and one which Giggs admitted was a blow to his side.
