Chelsea won’t loan out Omari Hutchinson this summer and are asking for £25m-£30m with several clubs interested, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Hutchinson joined Chelsea on a free transfer from Arsenal in 2022, and started in the under-21 side, before making two appearances for the first team under Graham Potter.

The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Ipswich, where he thrived and played a key role for the Tractor Boys as they won promotion to the Premier League.

Chelsea want £30m for Hutchinson

Hutchinson scored ten goals and provided six assists in 44 Championship appearances and was a mainstay in Kieran McKenna’s side.

The winger was named Championship Player of the Month for February, and also won the Ipswich Player of the Month on three separate occasions.

Hutchison returned to Chelsea with just one year left on his deal, but the Blues exercised an option to extend it by a year until 2026.

The youngster had been expected to go out on loan again, but it now appears Chelsea will look to cash in this summer.

Romano took to X.com to confirm Hutchinson would only be leaving Chelsea on a permanent basis this summer, with the club looking for around £25m-£30m.

He said:

“EXCLUSIVE: Chelsea won’t loan out Omari Hutchinson again this summer, permanent deal, only way.

“#CFC would only consider bids around £25/30m for Omari, understand Stuttgart are pushing a lot to sign him, favourites, with more clubs in PL, Ajax and Feyenoord also keen.”

Ipswich are reportedly prepared to offer £20m for Hutchinson who is believed to be open to a return to Portman Road.

Serhou Guirassy still has eyes on a Premier League move this summer

Serhou Guirassy remains keen on completing a move to the Premier League this summer.

The Stuttgart striker has been one of Europe’s most prolific forwards this season and has scored 24 Bundesliga goals so far, a tally bettered only by Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane.

The Guinea international was strongly linked with a move to England in January and was reportedly open to a mid season switch, with the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal believed to be considering a deal.

Guirassy to join the Premier League this summer?

The 28-year-old has a release clause of just £15m in his current contract which makes him a very attractive proposition for any potential suitors.

The forward turned down a new contract with Stuttgart ahead of the January window and it still remains to be seen if he will sign fresh terms before the summer window opens.

Guirassy is reportedly keen to move to the Premier League this summer.

The German club are still hopeful that their star striker will stay beyond the of the season and Stuttgart’s sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth told Sky Germany:

“In the last two transfer periods, it was the case that almost everyone was ready for him to leave but he stayed both times.”

Wohlgemuth admitted that securing Champions League football could be pivotal to their hopes of keeping Guirassy.

“It’s a piece of the puzzle for players to decide for or against us”, he added.

Despite not leaving in January Guriassy’s release clause is active again this summer, and HITC have reported that Premier League interest remains, with the player ready to make the move, but he remains very focused on Stuttgart’s end to the season.

The reports adds Manchester United, Newcastle, Tottenham, Crystal Palace, Wolves, Fulham and West Ham have all watched Guirassy in action in recent months, and there is also interest from Italy and Spain.

Guriassy’s current contract runs until 2026 but Stuttgart remain hopeful of agreeing a new deal which either increases the clause or removes it completely.

‘Hijacking a deal’ never seemed to be a large part of football but in recent years Manchester United’s proclivity for doing so has come to light. The cases of Brazilian midfielder Fred and Cristiano Ronaldo stand out, with both players heavily linked to rivals Manchester City in the lead up to their signatures. Now it seems the Red Devils are ready to do battle with London opposition Chelsea.

Croatian left-back Borna Sosa has been attracting attention all season. At 23 years of age, Sosa has been capped five times for his national side and currently finishing his third season with VfB Stuttgart, it appears he will be making a move this summer. According to German outlet Kicker, as reported by the Mail, incoming Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag wants the left-back in Manchester next season.

He had previously been linked with Chelsea, as Thomas Tuchel seeks to find a back-up he trusts for Ben Chilwell. If he were to join ten Hag, he may well have a better chance of nailing down a first-team role in red. Alex Telles has flattered to deceive since joining Manchester United while Luke Shaw has enjoyed both good times and bad.

In a struggling Stuttgart team, Sosa has notched 8 assists in 27 Bundesliga appearances this season. Renowned for his dead ball ability, he would provide an attacking asset from full-back whichever side he joins.

North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham interested in Chelsea target for summer transfer deal

North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in a move for VfB Stuttgart star Borna Sosa.

The 24-year-old Croatian left-back is reportedly wanted by both clubs for a summer transfer.

Journalist Christian Falk has reported the interest from both parties, also claiming Sosa was the subject of transfer discussions from Chelsea during the January transfer window.

Chelsea’s interest in the player makes sense considering the season-ending injury sustained by Ben Chilwell earlier in the season which left them without their first choice starter in the position.

However, Chelsea ultimately adopted to not sign anyone to replace him, instead choosing to rely on Marcos Alonso and Callum Hudson-Odoi to provide the cover for the position.

Arsenal recently recruited Nuno Tavares in the position, but his defensive weaknesses mean Mikel Arteta may be tempted to use him further forward next season.
